Froment s.r.o. manages about 450 ha of arable land. The land we manage is scattered around thirty kilometers around Tachov.
We grow mainly wheat (fodder and food) but we can also prove the quality of the seed, winter rape and winter barley (feed and malting). As complementary crops, we focus on poppy, rye and clover incarnate. Although, we are “conventional” farmers, we work on the land as carefully as possible. In agricultural practice we use modern technology of precision agriculture based on GPS. This ensures maximum care for fertilizer spraying which minimizes topsoil crossings.
In our field ,we try to use manure fertilizer as much as possible, especially cow manure. Together with adherence to anti-erosion measures, regular liming and incorporation of the bio-component into the soil (using catch crops), we return the soil on which we work to its original character and quality.
